Wi-Fi works downstairs but not upstairs
Almost always a coverage problem rather than a broken router. One access point in the right place usually fixes a whole floor, and it is cheaper than replacing everything.
The internet keeps dropping and reconnecting
Could be the router, the line, interference from a neighbour on the same channel, or a device dragging the network down. We find out which instead of guessing.
Wi-Fi says connected but there is no internet
That usually points at DNS or the modem rather than the Wi-Fi itself, which is why rebooting sometimes works and sometimes does not.
Everything got slow after a storm or a power cut
