How much does computer repair cost?
Most software fixes and tune-ups fall in the $100 to $175 per hour range that applies to all our hourly work, and many are done in a single hour. Hardware repairs are quoted as parts plus labor after diagnosis, and you approve the number before we start.
Do you fix Macs as well as Windows PCs?
Yes. We repair and upgrade both, including MacBooks, iMacs, Windows laptops, desktops, and small business workstations.
Do I have to bring the computer somewhere?
No. Most problems are fixed remotely while you watch. For hardware work we come to you across Lake, Orange, and Seminole counties, or arrange a pickup.
Will I lose my files?
We back up your data before any repair that could affect it. If a drive is already failing, we recover what can be recovered first, then fix the machine.
Is it worth repairing an older computer?
Often, yes. An SSD and memory upgrade on a machine under six years old usually costs far less than a replacement and makes it noticeably faster. If it is not worth it, we tell you.
How fast can you fix it?
Remote fixes usually happen the same day. On-site repairs are typically scheduled within the week, faster for business emergencies.
