Common Tech Questions, Answered.

Straight answers about how we work, what we charge, and how we protect your business, from one local tech expert in Central Florida.

● GENERAL

About Think Tech Support

Where is Think Tech Support based?

We are based in Astatula, Florida, in Lake County. We provide on-site service across Lake, Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Volusia counties, and remote support nationwide.

Do you serve residential clients, or just businesses?

Both. We support everything from a homeowner needing better WiFi to a multi-location business that needs full managed IT. The approach scales, the standards do not.

What hours are you available?

Our standard business hours are weekdays, but managed-service clients get 24/7 on-call coverage for production-critical issues. Emergencies do not wait for Monday morning.

How do I request a quote?

Use our contact form and tell us what you are working on. We will follow up to scope it out, and you will have a written quote before any work begins.

● BILLING & ENGAGEMENT

Working With Us & Billing

Why do you not list prices on your site?

Because honest prices depend on scope. A “small website” can be 5 pages or 50, with or without ecommerce, with or without integrations. We give every client a written quote based on what they actually need, not a one-size-fits-all sticker.

Do you require a contract?

Only for managed-service plans, which are month-to-month with a written service agreement. Project work is governed by a written scope of work, no long-term commitment.

Do you require a deposit?

For most projects, yes. Deposits and milestone payments are spelled out in the written scope before work begins.

Do you offer payment plans?

Project work is typically billed in milestones, which functions as a built-in payment plan. For larger engagements, we can structure custom terms, just ask.

● SERVICES

Our Services Explained

Can you take over an existing website or network?

Yes. We routinely take over existing infrastructure from other providers. The first step is an audit to understand what is in place and what needs to change, we will not just “throw it out and start over” if that is not what is best for you.

Do you work with my existing vendors?

Yes. We are happy to coordinate with your existing internet provider, security company, AV installer, or other vendors. Tech projects rarely live in a vacuum.

Do you handle the App Store and Google Play submissions for apps?

Yes. Store listings, screenshots, privacy declarations, and update submissions are part of our standard app development delivery.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance after a project ends?

Yes. We offer maintenance plans for every type of project we do, website, network, smart home, or app. You are never handed a finished product and left to fend for yourself.

● SECURITY & OWNERSHIP

Security, Privacy & Ownership

Who owns the work after the project is done?

You do. Code, design files, configurations, credentials, accounts, everything we build for you is yours, delivered cleanly at handoff. No licensing tricks.

How do you handle data privacy?

We follow least-privilege access principles, use encrypted channels for credentials and file transfer, and never share client information across engagements. Specific compliance requirements (HIPAA, etc.) are handled at the project scope level.

Do you back up the work you do for us?

For managed clients, yes, backup is part of the service. For project work, we hand off the source and configuration; ongoing backup is either part of a maintenance plan or your responsibility, and we will tell you clearly which.
